Ace Attorney 6: final boxart + new commercial for the Ace Attorney anime series

A few weeks ago, the boxart for Ace Attorney 6 was revealed via the product page on Amazon.co.jp. Said page was updated today, and features an updated (and final) version of the boxart. It’s pretty much the same as the previous one, with the exception of colours (significantly less saturated).

There’s also a “15th Anniversary” sticker on the box: that’s right, the Ace Attorney series celebrates its 15th Anniversary this year! The very first entry, Gyakuten Saiban came out back in October 2001 on GameBoy Advance (it was later ported to the Nintendo DS, which is the version we got in the West).

Ace Attorney 6 (3DS) comes out on June 9th in Japan. A European and North American release has already been confirmed.

Ace Attorney anime series

Gyakuten Saiban: Sono Shinjitsu, Igiari!, the Ace Attorney anime series will debut this Saturday, at 5.30PM JST. Last week, a brand new commercial (featuring Gyakuten Winner, by Johnny’s West, the opening theme) started airing on TV, with some new footage. Unfortunately, it’s not yet available officially on YouTube, so you will have to deal with the low quality recording for now…

Unfortunately, we don’t know if a legal streaming service will pick up the anime series, as nothing has been announced so far.
