amiibo: new Animal Crossing figures and cards releasing on March 24th in Japan
Update
Nintendo just announced that the 4 new Animal Crossing amiibo figures and the Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer + Isabelle (Summer) amiibo would be released on March 18th in Europe (March 19th in Australia / New Zealand). Unfortunately, we still don’t have dates for the third and fourth waves of amiibo cards.
Here’s pictures of the amiibo themselves, as well as their packaging:

Quickly after the first set of Animal Crossing amiibo cards was announced, Nintendo explained that there would be 4 sets of 100 cards, for a total of 400 cards. The third set was released last week in Japan, and still doesn’t have a release date for Europe and North America.
But that doesn’t matter: Nintendo has already announced the release date for the fourth set in Japan: March 24th. Just like the other, it will have 100 different cards, sold in packs of 3 (which cost 324 Yen each). And unless Nintendo announces some more in the (near) future, this will be the last set of Animal Crossing amiibo cards to be released.
Here’s some pictures:
And on March 24th, Nintendo will also release the next four Animal Crossing amiibo figures (sold 1 296 Yen each) in Japan:
- Isabelle (Summer)
- Kapp’n
- Timmy & Tommy
- Rover
Finally, still on the same day, Nintendo will release a special pack (sold 5 400 Yen + taxes) including:
- Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer
- Isabelle amiibo (Summer)
Unfortunately, we will have to wait a bit before getting release dates for North America.
