Japan: third wave of Animal Crossing amiibo cards coming out on January 14th
It’s in July that Nintendo launched the very first wave of Animal Crossing amiibo cards in Japan. Back then, Nintendo revealed that there would be 4 waves of 100 cards, for a total of 400 cards.
The first and second one were launched:
- First wave: in July in Japan, September in North America, and October in Europe
- Second wave: in October in Japan, and November in Europe and North America
And today, Nintendo announced that the third wave of Animal Crossing amiibo cards would be launched on January 14th in Japan. The price is the same: 324 Yen for a pack of 3 cards. There’s a 17 special cards, and 83 standard cards.
Here’s some pictures:
Unfortunately, we don’t know when this third wave of Animal Crossing amiibo cards will be launched in Europe and North America, but February seems rather likely (the second wave was launched several weeks after Japan).
