Dragon Ball Fusions: boxart, pictures of the cover plates
Last week, we learned from V-Jump magazine that Dragon Ball Fusions (previously known as Dragon Ball: Project Fusion) would be released on August 4th in Japan. The game will be available stand-alone (retail and Nintendo eShop), but also as part of New Nintendo 3DS + game + cover plates bundle, available in limited quantities.
Here’s what the bundle will include:
- New Nintendo 3DS
- 1 physical copy of Dragon Ball Fusions
- 1 microSD Card (4GB)
- 6 AR Cards
- 1 touchpen
- Quick Start Guide, Manual, Warranty
- Dragon Ball Fusions cover plates
- 1 download code to unlock SSGSS Son Goku (also available as first-print bonus for the stand-alone version)
- 1 Gohanks EX card for the Dragon Ball Heroes Arcade game (also available as first-print bonus for the stand-alone version).
There will also be a download code for a Nintendo 3DS Theme, that comes with the cover plates.

Thanks to a TV Commercial that aired last week-end in Japan, more fusions have been revealed:
- Majin Buu + Mr. Satan
- Pan + Bra
- Tiencha
You can find more details and screencaps from the commercial on Reddit!
Dragon Ball Heroes (3DS) comes out on August 4th in Japan. Unfortunately, we don’t know if Bandai-Namco is planning to release the game outside Japan or not.
