Fire Emblem Echoes gets some English screenshots
Last month, Nintendo streamed a special Nintendo Direct presentation entirely dedicated to the Fire Emblem series. That’s where we got our first look at Fire Emblem Heroes (on smart devices), but also where surprising announcements were made. One of them is Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, for the Nintendo 3DS.
But since then, Nintendo hasn’t mentioned the game once, with the exception of the announcements regarding the Limited Editions in Japan. We’re still waiting on additional details about this rather unique Fire Emblem game, which is in fact a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden (seen as the “black sheep” of the Fire Emblem series).
But earlier this week, Nintendo of Europe updated the official gamepage for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia on its official website, adding the very first screenshots in English. They show battles, exploration, and what seems to be a few events scenes. Nothing groundbreaking, but it’s still nice to gather another look at the game… the first time since last month, after all!
The same gamepage reveals that voices will only be available in English, which means there will not be dual-audio:
*Please note that this game will be available only with English voiceover.
Here’s the first screenshots in English for Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia on Nintendo 3DS:
And here’s some screenshots in Japanese, from Amazon:
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia (3DS) comes out on April 20th in Japan, and May 19th in Europe and North America.
