Fire Emblem Fates: release date for North America, Limited Editions, screens
Yesterday, during the first Nintendo Direct in over 5 months, Nintendo confirmed that Fire Emblem Fates would also be available in two versions in North America and Europe:
- Birthright
- Conquest
If you buy one, you can download the other for half-price via the Nintendo eShop. But that’s not all: there will also be a third story path, called Revelation, which will be released after launch as DLC. It works with both versions of the game, and you don’t need to beat both in order to play it. In fact, you don’t even need to beat any, but it’s not recommended to start with this one (unless you know what you’re doing!).
And just like in Japan, Nintendo will launch a Limited Edition with all three versions. It includes:
- Fire Emblem Fates (Birthright / Conquest / Revelation)
- an artbook
- a Nintendo 3DS XL pouch (only in North America)

Fire Emblem Fates (3DS) comes out on February 19th in North America, and later this year in Europe.
