Japan: Lawson store getting a Dragon Quest make-over this Saturday

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King on Nintendo 3DS comes out next week (August 27th) in Japan. To celebrate, a Lawson store is getting a Dragon Quest make-over on Saturday (August 22nd), at 7AM JST. The outside of the shop (which is located in Akihabara) will get Dragon Quest-themed decorations, and bags with a Slime design will be distributed to customers.

But that’s not all: customers who spend at least 500 yen will get a Slime-themed fan (only one per customer). Those who buy Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King at this particular shop will also get a sticker, featuring an artwork of a Slime wearing a Lawson uniform.

Finally, several things will be available at the store itself:

– Dragon Quest goodies (towels, mugs, more)
– Dragon Quest-themed WebMoney cards
– Special items via StreetPass (until November 1st)
