Today, Nintendo announced that online services for several Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games would be down for maintenance, next week. This time around, there’s pre-update maintenance mixed in (for Super Mario Maker), but as usual, you should not expect any update for the other games.

- Wii U: online play, leaderboards (some online services)
- Nintendo 3DS: online play, leaderboards (some online services)
This maintenance will take place on:

– UK: December 21st (9PM) to December 22nd (2AM)
– North America (EDT): December 21st (4PM to 9PM)
– North America (PDT): December 21st (1PM to 6PM)
– Japan: December 22nd (6AM to 11AM)
