Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics Arcade Edition to be launched in Spring 2016 in Japan
Last week, we learned that SEGA was currently working on an arcade version of Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics, simply called Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics Arcade Edition for now. Some locatests were run last week, which allowed us to get some details about this arcade version and its gameplay.
Today, SEGA finally announced the game, and opened the official website: you can click here to access it. Unfortunately, there isn’t anything in there at the moment, just an artwork… and a release period. Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics Arcade Edition will apparently come out next Spring in Japanese Game Centers, and it’s quite likely the console will be released at more or less the same time.
Here’s some artworks:
Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics Arcade Edition (Arcade) will launch next Spring in Japan.
Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics (Wii U / 3DS) will launch next year, worldwide.
