Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash – Two secret characters revealed, new screens

When Nintendo revealed Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash back at E3, they only showed a small portion of the playable roster. In fact, it wasn’t until a few days ago, with a new batch of previews, that we finally got a proper list of playable characters found in the game. But it wasn’t the full roster: there was still some secret characters left to be revealed, and more precisely newcomers who never made an appearance in the Mario Tennis series before.
And today, Nintendo finally revealed two secret characters, which will most likely need to be unlocked first before you can use them. Since those might be considered spoilers by some players, who like to keep the surprise intact until they actually unlock the secret characters, we put their names and the latest batch of screenshots for the game after the break!
Here’s two secret characters to be found in Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash on Wii U:
- Dry Bowser
- Bowser Jr. (playing tennis onboard his Clown Car… isn’t that against the rules?)

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash (Wii U) comes out on November 20th in Europe and North America, and later this year in Japan.
