Monster Hunter Stories: Otomon showcase videos (Nargacuga)
On July 15th, Capcom started uploading videos for the various Otomon (partner monsters) in Monster Hunter Stories. Basically, they showcase:
- the monster itself
- its Ride Action (action you can perform in the fields, such as being able to jump across gaps, swimming, breaking rocks, and more)
- its Active Skill (a special skill it can use in battle)
- its Kizuna Move (special move you can pull off during battle, when you’re riding the monster).
Since Capcom seem to be sharing those on a regular basis, we’ve created this post, in order to gather all the short videos. We will update it regularly, as new videos are shared by Capcom!

- Riding Skill: Nest Knowledge (an ability that helps with finding nests with eggs to collect)
- Active Skill: Poison Spike (poisons the enemy)
- Kizuna Move: Flame Saber
July 20th
- Name: Aptonoth
- Riding Skill: Plant Knowledge (an ability that helps with collecting herbs)
- Active Skill: gets details on enemy monsters
- Kizuna Move: Slipping Dive
July 19th

- Riding Skill: Call (attracts monsters)
- Active Skill: Song of Healing (heals the party)
