Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On (anime): first trailer and details
Today, Capcom revealed plenty of details for Monster Hunter Stories (including the release date, but also a new trailer, screenshots, and more), and of course, they didn’t forget to mention Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On (the anime series). Today, we finally got the very first trailer for the game, along with some details about the anime itself.
It was announced that the anime series would debut on October, and would get a new episode every Sunday at 8.30AM on Fuji TV. Since new anime series generally debut during the first week of the month, and the game comes out on October 8th, we can assume that the first episode will air on October 2nd. We already know that there will be (at least) 48 episodes.
Fuji TV created its very first daytime timeslot for anime in 10 years especially for Monster Hunter Series, which will air just before two major anime series:
- 8.30AM: Monster Hunter Stories
- 9AM: Dragon Ball Super
- 9.30AM: One Piece
Here’s some of the staff working on this anime series:
- Mutsumi Tamura: VA for Ryuto (the protagonist)
- M.A.O: VA for Nabiru (Ryuto’s partner)
- CAPCOM: original creators
- Mitsuru Hongo (World Trigger): Director
- Natsuko Takahashi (Ore Monogatari!!): series composition
- Takuya Saito (Macross Zero): chara-design
- Animation studio: David Production
Monster Hunter Stories: Ride On will follow the story of the game, and feature the same characters.
