Monster Hunter X: screenshots for the Hunting Skills and returning monsters
With Monster Hunter X, the developers really want to put the focus on “customisation”, so that players can enjoy their very own type of hunting experience. It’s why there’s four different Hunting Styles: coupled with the 14 types of weapons, they allow hunters to customise their playstyle as much as possible.
But that’s not all: one of the main elements introduced in Monster Hunter X are the Hunting Skills. They’re “flashy” actions you can use while hunting, in order to get buffs, heal, and more. There’s two types of Hunting Skills:
- those that anyone can perform
- those which require a specific weapon
The screenshots below showcase some of those very Hunting Skills, but also some of the returning monsters:
- Arzuros (from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd)
- Volvidon (from Monster Hunter Portable 3rd)
- Plesioth (from Monster Hunter)
- Royal Ludroth (from Monster Hunter 3)
