Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer – Pics of the console, contents of the box, more
It’s on Friday that Nintendo will release the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System in Europe and North America. And the day before (on November 10th), the Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer will be released in Japan.
And today, Famitsu shared some pictures of the Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer, as well as the contents of the box. Here’s a quick reminder about said contents:
- the Famicom Mini itself, with the two controllers attached
- 1 HDMI cable
- 1 manual
- 1 USB cable
- a My Nintendo number ticket (so you can register the console on My Nintendo, and get some sweet Gold Coins as a reward. Also included in the North America, and most likely in Europe too)

About the games included, they are more or less the same as for the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System. However, the following games are only found in the Famicom Mini:
- Yie Ar Kung-Fu
- Atlantis no Nazo
- Solomon’s Key
- Tsuppari Ouzumo
- River City Ransom
- Final Fantasy III
- Downtown Nekketsu Koushinkyoku Sore Yuke Dai Undoukai
- Mario Open Golf
They replace the following games, only found in the NES Mini:
- Bubble Bobble
- Castlevania II: Simon’s Quest
- Donkey Kong Jr.
- Final Fantasy
- Kid Icarus
- Punch-Out!! Featuring Mr Dream
- StarTropics
- Tecmo Bowl
The Nintendo Classic Mini: Family Computer comes out on November 10th in Japan.
The Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System comes out on November 11th in Europe and North America.
