Nintendo @ E3: Zelda content coming to Miitomo, special eShop sale, more

Today, Nintendo sent a press release in order to announce even more activities and content for E3 2016, which starts next week. There is special The Legend of Zelda content coming to Miitomo, a special sale on the Nintendo eShop, and a recap of the various livestreams scheduled for E3.
But before that, here’s a new artwork for the next The Legend of Zelda game on Wii U and NX platform:
Miitomo
After the special Splatoon collaboration (a few weeks ago), Nintendo has decided to have a second one, but this time with the Legend of Zelda series.
If all the tweets below (combined) get over 10 000 RT worldwide, then all players will get the “Link’s new hairdo wig” item. If the RT reach 20 000 worldwide, then all players will get the “Link’s hairdo wig” item. And if the RT reach 40 000 worldwide, the Pixel Link T-Shirt (black) will be given to all players.
The gifts will then be available from:
- Europe: June 14th (11PM) to July 14th (6AM)
- UK: June 14th (10PM) to July 14th (5AM)
- North America (EST): June 14th (5PM) to July 14th (12AM)
- North America (PST): June 14th (4PM) to July 13th (9PM)
- Japan: June 15th (6AM) to July 14th (1PM)
And on June 14th, Nintendo will add a new theme for the Miitomo Drop game, for The Legend of Zelda. You will be able to try and win some more Zelda clothing items for your Mii.

- Europe: June 15th (12AM) to July 14th (4.59PM)
- UK: June 14th (11PM) to July 14th (3.59PM)
- North America (EST): June 14th (6PM) to July 14th (10.59AM)

But that’s not all: a new The Legend of Zelda item will be available in Miitomo Shop, from:

- UK: June 14th (11PM) to July 14th (3.59PM)
- North America (EST): June 14th (6PM) to July 14th (10.59AM)

And just like with Splatoon, a new reward for Miitomo will be added to My Nintendo. Unfortunately, we don’t know what is yet, and how many Platinum Coins you will need to buy it.

Special Nintendo eShop sale
It doesn’t look like North America is getting the Nintendo eShop 5th Anniversary, but at least, there will be a special E3 sale. It will be live from June 14th (11AM PST / 2PM EST) to June 21st (8.59AM PST / 11.59AM EST). We don’t know which games will be discounted, just that it’s going to be the “most popular” ones (no doubt Nintendo’s notion of popularity will differ greatly from yours!).
What’s more, there will also be a special bonus for My Nintendo members buying select games included in the sale. It’s an extra discount, similar to the one offered to Nintendo Account users in Japan for the Nintendo eShop 5th Anniversary sale. Details about the discounts will be available on the Nintendo E3 website.
