Nintendo: list of million-sellers for H1 2015-16, best-sellers on Wii U/3DS
Million-sellers
During the first half of Fiscal Year 2015-16 (April 1st – September 30th), three Nintendo games sold more than 1 million units worldwide. Unsurprisingly, Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is one of them with over 2 million units sold, including 850 000 units outside Japan (the game wasn’t released in Europe).
There’s also Super Mario Maker, which is off to a great start with 1.88 million units sold worldwide, including 1.56 million outside Japan. Sales are significantly better in the West, which is a signifcant contrast with Splatoon (Japan represents over 50% of global sales for that game).
Here’s the million-sellers for H1 2015-16:
- Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (Nintendo 3DS): 2.02 million worldwide, 1 170 000 in Japan, 850 000 outside Japan.
