Nintendo news (Apr. 18): Hey! Pikmin developed by Arzest / Breath of the Wild wallpaper
Today’s Nintendo news: the developers behind Hey! Pikmin on Nintendo 3DS finally revealed, but also…
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Hey! Pikmin
Revealed during the Nintendo Direct presentation in September 2016, Hey! Pikmin is a side-scrolling puzzle/action game for the Nintendo 3DS. It will be released in July worldwide (with Japan getting it first). Until now, we didn’t know who was developing it, but it was pretty likely it was not an internal project.
And thanks to a listing on the Australian Classification Board, we now know who is developing this game: Arzest, who previously worked on Yoshi’s New Island and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympics on the Nintendo 3DS. Unfortunately, we will have to wait until closer to launch to find out who is involved with this project.
Here’s the listing:
Hey! Pikmin (3DS) comes out on July 13th in Japan, and July 28th in Europe and North America.
