Celebi distribution
As part of the 20th Anniversary of the Pokémon series, there will be Mythical Pokémon distributions throughout the year. Last month Mew was available, and it could be obtained via a serial code given out at participating retailers (it’s still available in some countries like France, where the distribution started later). And this month, the Mythical Pokémon distributed is none other than Celebi.
But unlike Mew, you won’t have to go anywhere to get Celebi: all you need is an internet connection, since this distribution is done via the Nintendo Network. It officially starts on March 1st, but if you live in Europe, you can already get your Pokémon. To get it, you need to follow the steps below:
- Launch the game
- Select Mystery Gift
- Select Receive Gift
- Select Get Via Internet
- Select your save data
- Talk to the delivery girl to get your Pokémon
- Save your game
Celebi will be available until Marh 24th. The North American distribution will start in a few hours.

Pokkén Tournament
Today, Nintendo UK launched the Countdown Clash for Pokkén Tournament. In the video, they introduce several Battle Pokémon, and pit them against each other. Players have to vote (via Twitter) for the Pokémon they think will win, and then the results will be revealed a few days later.
You might be wondering “Why should I vote? Anything to win?”. The answer is… yes! By voting, you will enter into a random draw to win one of four copies of Pokkén Tournament and the Pokkén Tournament Pro Controller. You can get more details and learn how to vote on the official website!
Here’s the battles for this week:
- Pikachu Libre vs. Chandelure
- Lucario vs. Gangar
Here’s the video (which also give details about each Battle Pokémon, their fighting style, and more):
Talking about Pokkén Tournament, if you pre-order the game at GameStop, you will get a double-side poster:
Pokkén Tournament (Wii U) comes out on March 18th, worldwide.
