Pokémon news (Oct. 9): Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS: Hoopa distribution; Pokkén
Hoopa distribution
The Pokémon Company finally announced a distribution event for Hoopa in Europe. It will be available in select stores for a limited time, via a serial code. Here’s the dates:
- UK: October 23rd to November 5th, at GAME
- Germany: October 16th to November 7th, at GameStop
Dates for French, Italy, Spain, United States and Canada will be announced at a later date. The code can be used in Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.
Talking of Pokémon distributions, it was also announced that fans attending the Firstlook Festival in Jaarbeurs, Utrecht (in the Netherlands, on October 10th and 11th) would be able to get Hoopa for Pokémon X/Y/Omera Ruby/Alpha Sapphire.

Pokkén Tournament
This week, Pokkén Tournament (Arcade) received an update in Japan. It not only brings some game balance changes, it also adds some Halloween-themed goodies:
- new Support Pokémon: Mismagius and Ninetales. You can get them by loggin into the Pokkén Tournament network using your BANA Passport;
- special Halloween-themed costumes;
- the Haunted House stage has been modified, to give it a Hallooween look (with pumpkins and more).
Pokémon app
Today, The Pokémon Company announced that two Pokémon app on mobile platforms would be terminated on November 30th:
- Pokédex for iOS
- Learn Real English With Pokemon: Bilingual XY Scope
After November 30th, you will not be able to download the game anymore, and in-app purchases will be unavailable.
