Pokémon Sun and Moon: in-game footage of Komala, Rockruff

Earlier this week, The Pokémon Company revealed some new Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Moon in a Japanese trailer, followed the next day by another trailer (in English this time), complete with actual details. And as announced a couple of days ago, the game was shown during the Pokémon no Uchi Atsumaru variety show (on TV Tokyo).

In the segment, we got to see Professor Kukui and his Rockruff in the middle of a video chat. We don’t have a recording for that segment, but it looks like the relevant bit (the one with footage) was also shown at the Pokémon National Championships in Hong Kong today.

A video/trailer was shown there, with not just the segment with Professor Kukui and his Rockruff, but also actual gameplay footage for both Rockruff and Koamala in battle. It does look like an official trailer, just like the one for the various Zygarde formes at the Pokémon National Championships in Taiwan last month. In other words, we can expect an official upload pretty soon!
