Yesterday, Atlus announced Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology for the Nintendo 3DS, a remake of the Nintendo DS title (released in 2010). It features various improvements and enhancements, such as improved graphics, voice acting, and more. There’s also a brand new scenario, that can be played from the very beginning.

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology is featured in Famitsu magazine this week, and said magazine is now available in Japan (at least, the digital edition). You can find plenty of early details in this post, with more to come in the upcoming days. There’s also the very first screenshots to be found below!

Famitsu also shares some additional details about the game, starting with some staff members:

  • Director: Mitsuru Hirata (who previously worked on the original)
  • Music: Yoko Shimomura (who previously composed the soundtrack of the original)
  • Character design: Masaki Hirooka

We also learn that Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology will not be compatible with stereoscopic 3D (you will have to play in 2D). The game will be available in two editions:

  • Standard (6998 Yen)
  • Perfect Edition (10 584 Yen)

The Perfect Edition includes the following:

  • Deluxe box
  • Complete CD (2 CDs)
  • Special Artbook (100 pages)
  • DLC Pack (including original character portraits)
  • SD Characters DLC Pack (early purchase bonus, also available with the regular edition). SD character portraits have been designed by CHANxCO.

Finally, here’s the very first screenshots for the game:

Radiant Historia: Perfect Chronology (3DS) will be released on June 29th in Japan. It will be showcased during a livestream, on Sunday.
