Rocket League: exclusive Nintendo Battle-Cars revealed
At E3 2017, it was announced that Rocket League, the popular car-football game, was headed to the Nintendo Switch this holiday. In the reveal trailer, it was mentioned that this version of the game would some exclusive customisation items and Battle-Cars, but those were not shown the trailer.
Fortunately for us, they’re showcased in a brand new trailer for Rocket League, uploaded today. Check them out for yourself:
Rocket League on Nintendo Switch will have (at least) 2 exclusive Battle-Cars, in two variants:
- Mario NSR (Orange team)
- Luigi NSR (Blue Team)
- Samus’ Gunship (Orange Team)
- Samus’ Gunship (alt-colour) (Blue Team)
Those will be available for free to all players from launch, but you will not be able to use them right away… you will first need to unlock them! To do so, you will need to complete certain requirements, and more details about those will be revealed later this year.
But that’s not all: this version of the game will also feature several exclusive customisation items:
- Mario Topper (useable on any non-licenced customisable Battle-Car)
- Luigi Topper (useable on any non-licenced customisable Battle-Car)
- Super Star Rocket Boost (useable with the Mario NSR and Luigi NSR cars)
- Wave Beam Rocket Boost (useable with the Samus’ Gunship)
More details will be shared closer to launch, but in the mean time, here’s some pictures:
Rocket League (Switch – eShop) will be released before the end of the year.
