SEGA 3D Classics Archives 2 will include SMS version of Fantasy Zone

*** A few weeks ago, SEGA revealed that the SEGA 3D Classics Archives 2 collection would be released in December in Japan. It will include several SEGA 3D Classics titles, including some that are yet to be released on the Nintendo eShop:
- 3D Sonic The Hedgehog
- 3D Galaxy Force II
- 3D Thunderblade
- 3D Altered Beast
- 3D Fantasy Zone II W
- 3D Power Drift
- 3D Puyo Puyo 2
- Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa (SEGA Master System)
- Maze Walker (SEGA Master System)
And today, SEGA revealed that the SEGA 3D Classics Archives 2 collection would include a secret bonus game. To unlock it, players will need to have a save data file for the first SEGA 3D Classics Archives compilation on their Nintendo 3DS.
That secret bonus game is none other than the SEGA Master System version of the first Fantasy Zone. It will features some extras, such as:
- switcheable FM Unit / PSG
- stereoscopic 3D
- a radar

SEGA reminds fans that Fantasy Zone II: The Tears of Opa-Opa (SEGA Master System) will be available to all players who buy the SEGA 3D Classics Archives 2 collection. They will not need to have a save data for the first collection on their Nintendo 3DS in order to unlock it.
SEGA 3D Classics Archives 2 (3DS) comes out on December 23rd in Japan.
