The Snack World: latest trailer for the project
The Snack World is Level-5’s latest cross-media project, following Yo-kai Watch, Inazuma Eleven, and several others. Originally announced at the Level-5 Vision 2015 conference, it will finally be launched this year! It will get the following:
- a Nintendo 3DS (+iOS/Android) game by Level-5, releasing in July (December for the mobile game);
- a manga in CoroCoro magazine: the first chapter is available in the latest issue, released today in Japan;
- a full CG TV anime on TV Tokyo, to debut in April (and at prime time);
- NFC toys by Takara Tomy;
- a movie distributed by TOHO.
Today, Level-5 uploaded a brand new trailer for The Snack World. Unfortunately, like the previous ones, this new trailer is for the project as a whole, and therefore does not include a second of gameplay from the game itself. In fact, it seems the trailer only consists of footage from the CG Anime.
Here is the latest trailer for The Snack World project:
This trailer gives us a quick reminder about the various aspects of the cross-media project at the end (game, anime series, movie), but doesn’t give any additional details or date about them. It looks like we will have to wait a bit longer before learning more about them, especially the Snack World game on Nintendo 3DS!
Also, another animated short movie debuted alongside the latest Yo-kai Watch movie on December 17th, in Japan.
The Snack World (3DS) comes out in July 2017 in Japan. Level-5 has already announced they intended to launch the project worldwide, but hasn’t shared anything concrete yet (all we have is an English-dubbed version of the pilote anime). For more details about The Snack World, click here!
