Splatoon: 4th Splatfest taking place next week in North America (Autobots vs Decepticons)

Splatfest are special 24 hour long events that take place regularly in Splatoon. During those, players have to answer a question (like “Do you prefer cats or dogs?”), before joining a team depending on their answer. At the end of each Splatfest, the team with the most points win, based on popularity and number of battles won.

In Japan, the second and third Splatfests featured in-game product placement, with players having to chose between real-life brands of noodles and tea. But in Europe and North America, Nintendo has yet to host such Splatfest… but it will change next week, in North America at least!

A few minutes ago, Nintendo announced that the fourth Splatfest would take place on August 28th in North America. It will feature the well-known Transformers franchise from Hasbro: fans will have to support either the Autobots or the Decepticons!

The 4th Splatfest for North America will take place on:

– North America (EDT): 12AM (August 29th)
– North America (PDT): 9PM (August 28th)
– Europe: 6AM (August 29th)
– UK: 5AM (August 29th)
– Japan: 1PM (August 29th)

As usual, this Splatfest will only be for players with a North American copy of Splatoon. The date for the 4th Splatfest in Europe should be announced by the end of the week. As for Japan, the 4th Splatfest will take place this week-end!
