Story of Seasons: the latest entry to have Mario costumes
Today, Famitsu magazine revealed that Bokujou Monogatari 3tsu no Sato no Taisetsuna Tomodachi (the latest entry in the Story of Seasons series) would be featured in its latest issue. There will be some new details about the game, with some new characters from Tsuyukusa Village to be revealed (including new marriage candidates).
On the preview scan below, we can see the name of some of the characters:
- Yaichi (a child)
- Ittetsu (a rather stern-looking man)
- Tatsumi (a bright-looking young boy)
- Shizu (a pretty elegant woman)
Famitsu magazine will also have details about cooking, fishing, and more importantly: clothes. It looks like you will be able to have your character wear various clothes, including hats and glasses. The preview scans below reveals that there will be a special collaboration with Nintendo, with costumes based on Super Mario characters (Mario, Peach, Toad, Luigi, and more).
This is not the first time Marvelous goes with a special collaboration: in Story of Seasons, you could harvest some Nintendo-crops (such as Fire Flowers and Super Stars). However, it’s not clear whether those special crops will return, or if the Nintendo costumes replace them altogether.
