Super Smash Bros. for Wii U / 3DS leaks: Ryu and Roy confirmed, Inkling Girl trophy, more
Back in April, right after Mewtwo was added to the game, some members of the hacking community went and found some sound files for two new characters: Ryu (from the Street Fighter series) and Roy (from the Fire Emblem series). And today, due to a mistake from one of the developers, we now have a confirmation for those two characters… and more!
On Sunday, Nintendo will kick off E3 with a video presentation for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. This presentation will focus on Lucas, the Miiverse stage and the Inkling costumes, which will be added right after the presentation via a Software update. But as we expected, this presentation will also have some surprises…
… but said surprises have just been spoiled by what seems like a mistake from one of the developers. From the looks of it, the update that was supposed to go live on Sunday has already been added to the servers… but those most likely weren’t configured properly, as users in Japan have already managed to download it.
And it looks this update will add quite a bit of new content (besides Lucas, the Miiverse stage and the Inkling costumes):
– Ryu (from the Street Fighters series)
– Roy (from the Fire Emblem series)
– Inkling Girl trophy
– Dreamland 64 stage
– a stage for Ryu (from Street Fighter II)
– new music tracks, from Rhythm Heaven: “Blue Birds” and “Monkey Watch”
Here’s two videos for Ryu and Roy:
