Super Smash Bros. (Wii U / 3DS): Cloud Strife revealed, special broadcast next month

Yesterday, the Nintendo Direct ended with some major news: a new character was revealed for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. And it was quite the surprising character… Cloud Strife, from Final Fantasy VII! He will come with the Midgar stage at a later date, but unfortunately, we don’t quite know the price just yet (no doubt it should be the same as the Ryu + Suzaku Castle Stage bundle).

At the same time, Nintendo announced that there would be a special broadcast for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS next month. It’s most likely during that very broadcast that we will get the release date and price of Cloud Strife, but also the results of the Fighters Ballot, and the name of the last DLC characters.

According to Nintendo, this will be the very last broadcast for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. After all, Masahiro Sakurai revealed a few months ago that there were only a several more DLC characters left.
