US: Nintendo releasing New Nintendo 3DS pack for $99 on Nov. 25th (Black Friday)

For many Americans, Black Friday is the beginning of the holiday shopping season. It’s also one of the most important day of the years for many retailers, who always have some really neat deals on a wide range of products. Naturally, it’s also an important day for console manufacturers, who often release some special bundles/packs for the occasion.

And today, Nintendo made their first announcement for Black Friday: a special New Nintendo 3DS pack, to be released on November 25th. It includes a New Nintendo 3DS console (black or white), and comes with a set of Super Mario cover plates. It doesn’t come with any game at all, or anything special.

But then, what’s the deal about this bundle? Well… its price! Both bundles will cost $99 ($129.99 in Canada), which is by far the cheapest a non-2DS Nintendo 3DS model has ever been (not counting special discounts from retailers). If you want to buy a (New) Nintendo 3DS, but don’t want to give up on 3D, that’s one deal you don’t want to pass on. No doubt Nintendo will announce more deals in the upcoming days!
