Yo-kai Watch 3: Ver. 3.0 releasing this Spring; details and trailer

A few weeks ago, Level-5 announced that the next major update for Yo-kai Watch 3: Sushi / Tempura / Sukiyaki would be coming soon. Today, the company gave a more precise timeframe: this Spring (before June 20th, then). We also got more details about the contents of the update, along with a trailer and two commercials!

This update will bring the game to Ver. 3.0, and will “change” the title of each version. Players will also be able to get an exclusive version of Enma Daiou Yo-kai:

  • Sushi – Special: Taiyoushin Enma
  • Tempura – Excellent: Jikuushin Enma
  • Sukiyaki – Special Selection: Ankokushin Enma

The update will also add new quests, including one where you can befriend KJ, one that involves Fubuki-hime (Blizzaria) and her friends, and more. It looks like there’s some new version-exclusive quests, too.

Players will also be able to get their hands on some rare exclusive Yo-kai, too:

  • Sushi – Special: Isononami
  • Tempura – Excellent: Yamaokami
  • Sukiyaki – Special Selection: Tsukinoyami

Of course, there’s also some new Yo-kai found in all versions:

  • Agyou
  • Ungyou
  • Onmoraki
  • Chouchanobake
  • Gozu
  • Doubyoushi
  • Mezu

As for the Yo-kai Watch Busters-T mode, it’s also getting a brand new dungeon, with a new Guardian to battle against: Anahori Moguzou (with Bushi-ou and Captain Thunder also appearing as Guardians).

The RPG mode will also get two new areas: Nagizaki (a port town) and Kumamoto (a peaceful village in the mountains). It looks like you will even be able to fly a toy helicopter, too.
