The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Today, the Legend of Zelda portal was updated in Japan, with a blog post from Yoshiyuki Oyama, who was in charge of character/item design. He came to talk about armour sets. As you already know, armour set not only change Link’s appearance, they also grant him various bonuses when you’re wearing all three parts and they’ve been upgraded to ★2.
For example, the Sheikah set grants you Night Speed Up, while the Radiant Set grants you Stal Lure. But that’s not all: there’s also special pieces of armour that grants you bonuses on their own, allowing you to make various combinations without having to wear all three parts of a set.
Yoshiyuki Oyama points out that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is pretty much the only game in the Zelda series to offer such a level of customisation. He hopes players (will) enjoy changing their outfit depending on the region they’re exploring. He also recommends dying the clothes, to further customise your appearance!
