Zelda: Tri Force Heroes – Gameplay video with Eiji Aonuma, screens

Before the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D, back in February, Nintendo uploaded several gameplay videos for it, with Eiji Aonuma showcasing some of the elements from this Nintendo 3DS remake. If you liked those videos: good news! Nintendo is doing some for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes.

Tri Force Heroes AonumaIn the first video, Eiji Aonuma shows how you start a game: first, you pick up the mode you want (online, local, download play), and then you chose an area. Once you’ve done that, you wait for the other players to show up, and when they have, you select the level and then your costume.

During the level, players have to cooperate to solve puzzles and defeat the enemies. At the very end, there’s a chest with some materials inside: you can use them to get new costumes by bringing them to Madame Couture. Eiji Aonuma then showcases three costumes:

  • Kokiri: allows you to shoot three arrows at once with the bow
  • 8-bit Boy: changes the music and the sound effects to their 8-bit equivalent
  • Boomrang: gives you a bone boomrang.
